LinkDM alternatives: Instagram auto DM tools compared

How this list was made

We only included tools that send an automatic DM when someone comments a keyword on an Instagram post or Reel, because that is the job most creators bought LinkDM for. Each one was then checked against the same questions:

• Official API. Every tool here says it uses the official Instagram API, so you sign in on Meta's own screen and never share your password. That is the minimum, not a bonus.
• What the free plan counts. DMs a month, contacts a month or DMs an hour. A viral Reel hits each of these very differently.
• Currency. Dollar billing moves with the exchange rate and your card may add a foreign transaction fee. Rupee billing does not.
• What is locked to paid. Email capture, story replies, old comments and team seats are the usual paywalls.
• How sends are paced. Meta allows one private reply per comment, within 7 days. A tool that queues and paces sends keeps a busy thread from looking like spam.

Why do creators look for a LinkDM alternative?

LinkDM's pricing page, checked on 24 September 2026, lists a free plan with up to 1,000 DMs a month on one Instagram account, Pro at $19 a month for up to 25,000 DMs across 3 accounts, and Platinum+ at $99 a month for up to 300,000 DMs across 10 accounts. A review by SetSmart, read through search on 17 October 2026, reports the same tiers.

That is a strong offer if you run several accounts. LinkDM's home page also says it has been a certified Meta Business Partner since 2021. For one creator with one account, though, a $19 plan that covers 3 accounts means paying for room you never use.

How do the LinkDM alternatives compare?

The alternatives split into three groups. ReplyKaro, QuickDM and Zorcha bill in rupees and keep prices low. InstantDM, CreatorFlow and ManyChat bill in dollars and add AI chat, team seats or more channels. Spur is a chat platform for online stores. theZio bills in rupees and puts email capture and file delivery on its free plan.

Read the units before you compare. 1,000 DMs a month, 25 contacts a month and 20 DMs an hour are three different limits. An hourly cap adds up to a lot over a month if comments arrive steadily, but a viral spike waits in a queue.

Tool by tool: where each one is the better pick

ManyChat

ManyChat is the most mature platform here, with a visual flow builder, broadcasts and integrations across several channels. ManyChat's own pricing explainer, checked on 3 October 2026, says it charges by active contacts, and accounts created after 2 March 2026 get 25 active contacts a month on Free. InstantDM

InstantDM's pricing page, read through search on 27 September 2026, reports a free plan of 500 DMs a month and Legend Pro at $9.99 a month, with story replies and an AI agent. CreatorFlow

CreatorFlow's pricing page, read through search on 27 September 2026, reports a free plan of 500 DMs a month on one account with story replies included, Pro at $15 a month for 2 accounts and 5,000 DMs, and Growth at $30 a month for 5 accounts and team seats. ReplyKaro

ReplyKaro's pricing page, checked on 27 September 2026, lists a free plan with 1,000 DMs a month, 3 automations and 1 account, Starter at ₹99 a month in India for 30,000 DMs, and Pro at ₹299 a month with unlimited DMs. Story replies are on every Instagram plan, and it says it understands Hinglish keywords. QuickDM

QuickDM's pricing page, checked on 27 September 2026, lists a free plan with unlimited automations paced at up to 20 DMs an hour, up to 100 emails, and Pro Growth at ₹399 a month paced at up to 185 DMs an hour. Story replies are on every plan. Better pick if your comments arrive steadily and a slow hourly pace on Free does not bother you. See theZio vs QuickDM.

Zorcha

Zorcha's India pricing page, checked on 3 October 2026, lists unlimited DMs, automations and contacts on Free, and Pro at ₹1,199 a month, or ₹799 a month billed yearly. Email or phone capture is listed from Pro. Better pick if raw free DM volume matters most to you. See theZio vs Zorcha.

Spur

Spur is a chat platform for D2C and Shopify brands rather than a creator tool. Its pricing page, read through search on 17 October 2026, reports AI Acquire at $12 a month billed yearly with Instagram automation, 3 flows and 1 seat, and higher plans that add more channels, Shopify and up to 10 seats, all with a 7-day trial. Its help centre reports unlimited contacts on every plan, with AI credits per plan. Better pick if you run an online store and want one support inbox for several channels. See theZio vs Spur.

Where theZio fits (our tool, so read this critically)

theZio is our product. It does one job well: a fan comments your keyword on a chosen post or on all posts, and theZio sends the DM, with an optional public reply to the comment. Here is what you get compared with LinkDM, and where it does not win.

Where other tools beat theZio

• Many accounts on one plan. LinkDM Pro covers 3 accounts and CreatorFlow Growth covers 5. theZio is one Instagram account per plan.
• Lowest paid price. ReplyKaro lists ₹99 a month (₹299 for unlimited DMs) and QuickDM ₹399 a month, both below theZio Pro billed monthly.
• Free volume. Zorcha lists unlimited free DMs; theZio Free stops at a monthly cap.
• Other channels and store tools. theZio is Instagram only. ManyChat and Spur cover more channels, and Spur reports Shopify tools.
• Broadcasts and flow builders. theZio has neither; it is built for comment-to-DM.
• Track record. LinkDM has run since at least 2021. theZio is newer and is not a Meta partner.

Which LinkDM alternative should you pick?

• One account, a few Reels a week: almost any free plan works. Pick the one you find easiest to set up.
• Occasional viral Reels: check whether the free plan counts DMs, contacts or DMs per hour. A contacts cap can run out in a day; a per-hour cap delays DMs during the spike.
• You sell or give away a PDF or guide: look for built-in file delivery and email capture on the plan you can afford.
• You get lots of story replies: shortlist InstantDM, CreatorFlow, ReplyKaro, QuickDM or theZio, and check which plan covers replies without a keyword.
• You manage several accounts: stay with LinkDM or look at CreatorFlow and ManyChat.
• You want rupee billing: ReplyKaro, QuickDM, Zorcha and theZio list rupee prices.

How do you switch from LinkDM without sending double DMs?

1. List what is live on LinkDM: each post, keyword, DM text, link and any story automation.
2. Create the new account and connect Instagram through Meta's own login screen.
3. Pause LinkDM on one post, then recreate that automation in the new tool.
4. Comment the keyword from a second Instagram account and check that exactly one DM arrives with the right link.
5. Move the rest, then disconnect LinkDM from Instagram settings under apps and websites.

The reason is Meta's rule of one private reply per comment. Two tools on one post means one of them fails or the fan gets two DMs, which looks like spam under Meta's spam rules.
