When CreatorFlow is the better pick
- Story replies on Free. CreatorFlow reports story-reply automation on its Free plan. theZio Free answers Story replies that use your keyword; replying to every Story reply without a keyword, and thank-you DMs for Story mentions, are on Pro.
- Several accounts on one plan. CreatorFlow Pro is reported to cover 2 Instagram accounts and Growth 5, with team seats on Growth. That suits agencies and creators with more than one page.
- Link and contact tools. CreatorFlow reports link click tracking, a contact list with CSV export and geo analytics on Pro, which helps if you report numbers to brands.
- Meta Tech Provider. CreatorFlow says it was approved as a Meta Tech Provider in December 2025. theZio uses the official Instagram API but holds no Meta partner status.
When theZio fits better
- Rupee pricing. theZio Pro is ₹499 a month, billed in rupees through Razorpay. CreatorFlow is priced in US dollars, so the cost moves with the exchange rate and your bank may add a foreign transaction fee.
- More room on Free. theZio Free covers up to 1,000 auto DMs a month with no card. CreatorFlow Free is reported at 500 DMs a month.
- Email capture and a follow invite on every plan. Both are on theZio Free. The fan still gets the freebie if they choose not to follow, which keeps the DM friendly and within Meta's rules.
- Old comments and file delivery. theZio can answer comments from before you switched it on (last 24 hours on every plan, all old comments on Pro) and deliver an uploaded PDF or preset through a private download link.
- Built for Indian creators. Hinglish-friendly DM copy, INR prices and a setup of three steps: pick a post, set a keyword, write the DM.
How to switch without double DMs
- List what is live on CreatorFlow. Note each post, keyword, the DM text, any email step and the link it sends.
- Create a free theZio account and connect Instagram through Instagram Login. You need a professional (Business or Creator) account; no Facebook Page is needed.
- Pause the CreatorFlow automation for one post. Two tools on the same post would send a fan two DMs, or one of them would fail.
- Recreate it in theZio with the same post, keywords, DM and link. Switch on email capture or a follow invite if you want them.
- Test with a second Instagram account. Comment the keyword and check that exactly one DM arrives with the right link.
- Move the rest, story automations included, then disconnect CreatorFlow from Instagram settings under apps and websites. Never leave both tools answering your Stories, or a fan gets two DMs.

Yes. A fan replies to any of your Stories with your keyword and theZio sends the DM with your link, file or image, plus email capture or a follow invite if you switch them on. One DM per fan per Story. Keyword replies work on every plan, including Free. Answering every Story reply without a keyword, and a thank-you DM when a fan tags you in their Story, are on Pro. When you move, turn off the CreatorFlow story automation so a fan never gets two DMs.
Can I collect emails for free?
On theZio, yes: email capture in the DM is on every plan, including Free. For CreatorFlow, the pages we found disagree on whether email collection is on Free or Pro, so check their pricing page.
