Seller Terms

theZio · Last updated 19 October 2026

These Seller Terms apply when you, a creator, sell paid products on your theZio page (thezio.co/<your handle>) through Link in bio → Sell. theZio is operated by Punyakriya Industries Private Limited. They add to our Terms of Service; where the two differ on selling, these terms apply. By setting up payouts or putting a price on a product, you agree to them.

1. You are the seller; theZio collects for you

  • Each product is sold by you, to your buyer. You are the seller named on the sale invoice. theZioprovides your page, the checkout and delivery, and collects the payment on your behalf as a marketplace: the buyer pays theZio’s payment account (through Razorpay), and theZio pays you. We are not the seller of your products and do not own them.
  • You must own the product or have every right needed to sell it (including any music, images, fonts, templates or course material in it), and it must match its title, description and cover.
  • You set the price, from ₹10 to ₹50,000 per product, in Indian rupees. The price shown is the price the buyer pays.
  • Before you can sell, you add a support email or phone number. We show it to your buyers on their receipt and download page, and you answer them.

2. Fees and getting paid

  • theZio’s fee is a flat 5% of each sale, all-in. It already includes the payment gateway charge and the GST on our fee. Nothing else is taken, except tax the law requires us to deduct or collect (below). If we change the fee, we tell you at least 30 days before it applies to your sales.
  • Free offer: no theZio fee right now. While this offer runs, theZio charges no fee and no GST on a fee on your sales, and pays the payment gateway charge on them itself. It has no end date. If we end it, we tell you at least 30 days before, as with any fee change. The offer applies to a checkout started while it runs. Tax the law requires us to deduct or collect (below) still applies, and if you refund a sale, the gateway keeps its charge and it comes off your balance, as at any other time.
  • To be paid you verify who you are once: your legal name as on your PAN, your PAN, your address, and a bank account in your name (or, once we offer it, a UPI ID). We confirm the account with a small test deposit (a penny drop) and check that the name your bank gives matches your PAN name; if it does not, we review it by hand.
  • Each sale is held for 7 days after the purchase, so that refunds can be made. Every Monday we pay your balance that has cleared its hold to your verified bank account, by bank transfer (IMPS or NEFT); it usually lands the same day. If that balance is under ₹500, it rolls over to the next week.
  • Your Payouts page shows every sale, fee, refund and payout as a statement you can download, and theZio’s monthly tax invoice for its fee.
  • If a payout fails (for example a closed account or a wrong IFSC), the money comes back to your balance, we tell you, and we send it again once your bank details are fixed.
  • Where the law requires theZio to deduct or collect tax on your sales (for example TDS under the Income Tax Act, or TCS under GST law for sales through an online platform when you have a GSTIN), we deduct it from your balance, show it on your statement and give you the certificate for it.

3. Your taxes

You are responsible for your own income tax, and for GST registration, invoicing and returns if the law requires them for your sales. If you add your GSTIN, it appears on your buyers’ invoices and must carry the same PAN you verified. theZio does not give tax advice.

4. Refunds and chargebacks

  • Your buyers are covered by our Cancellation and Refund Policy. You agree that theZio may refund a buyer under it, after asking you, and at once for a duplicate or unauthorised payment. You can also refund a buyer yourself, in full or in part, from your Sell page.
  • When we forward a buyer’s problem, reply within 2 working days, and fix a broken or wrong file within 3 working days.
  • A refund comes off your balance: the amount refunded, plus the payment charge on the original sale (the payment network keeps it even when the money goes back). A chargeback a buyer raises comes off your balance too, and goes back on if you win it. If your balance goes below zero, the next sales cover it before anything is paid out; if you stop selling with a negative balance, you agree to pay it when we ask.

5. What you cannot sell

Anything illegal in India, or on Razorpay’s list of prohibited businesses, including:

  • pirated, leaked or resold content you do not have the rights to;
  • adult or sexual content, or anything involving minors;
  • betting, gambling, lottery or “sure-shot” trading tips, and investment or stock advice that needs SEBI registration you do not have;
  • medical treatment, cures or health claims, and drugs or medicines;
  • followers, likes, accounts, hacking tools or anything meant to break another platform’s rules;
  • schemes that promise guaranteed income, multi-level marketing or pyramid schemes;
  • anything hateful, defamatory, or that harms or misleads buyers.

Testimonials and FAQ answers on your product pages must be true. A testimonial must be the real words of a real person, shown with their permission and not edited to change its meaning. Never write your own or pay for good ones.

6. Your buyers’ details

You (and team members you allow to see contacts) see each buyer’s email address and what they bought. Use it only to support that purchase and to send messages they have agreed to, honour every unsubscribe request, never sell or share it, and follow India’s data protection law. See our Privacy Policy.

7. When we can pause selling

We can hide a product, switch off selling or your page, or hold your payouts if a product breaks these terms, if refunds or chargebacks on your sales are unusually high, if we suspect fraud, or if our payment partners or the law ask us to. Where we can, we tell you why first and give you a chance to fix it. You can stop selling at any time by taking the price off a product (it becomes free for an email) or removing it from your page.

8. Changes and contact

We may update these terms; the date at the top changes when we do, and we email you before a change that affects what you are paid. Questions: hello@thezio.co.
