Cheapest Instagram auto DM tools (2026): price per DM, compared

"Which auto DM tool is cheapest?" sounds like a simple question. It is not, because every tool sells a different unit. One counts DMs a month, one counts DMs an hour, one counts contacts, and one says unlimited and caps automations instead. Some bill in rupees, some in dollars, and some quote a yearly price as a monthly number.
This post puts them on one scale: price per 1,000 DMs, worked out only where a plan states both a price and a monthly DM cap. Where a plan is unlimited, it says unlimited. Where a plan counts something else, it says so and does not force a number. theZio is our product, so it is labelled as ours, and this post says plainly that it is not the cheapest on price alone.
How this list was made
We looked at ten comment-to-DM tools that Indian creators shortlist and kept the same rules for each:
- Paid entry price as the tool's own pricing page shows it, with the billing period. A "$9.99 a month, billed yearly" plan is not the same as $9.99 billed monthly.
- DMs included on that plan: a monthly cap, an hourly pace, a contact cap or unlimited.
- Price per 1,000 DMs only when the plan gives both a price and a monthly DM cap. Formula: monthly price divided by (monthly DM cap / 1,000).
- Currency as listed. Dollar prices stay in dollars. We do not convert them, because your rupee cost depends on your bank's rate on the day and any foreign transaction fee on your card.
- Dated sources. Each figure says when it was checked. QuickDM, InstantDM, CreatorFlow and Zorcha were read on 10 October 2026; the rest come from our dated compare pages and reviews, cited at the end.
The prices side by side
The table shows each tool's lowest paid plan that includes comment-to-DM. All figures are as reported by the sources at the end of this post. Prices change often, so treat this as a shortlist and confirm on the pricing page.
| Tool | Paid plan (as listed) | DMs on that plan | Price per 1,000 DMs | Free plan |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Creator Lane | Pro ₹199 a month plus GST, or ₹1,500 a year plus GST | No DM cap reported; unlimited automations | Unlimited | 2 automations, unlimited DMs inside each |
| ReplyKaro | Starter ₹99 a month in India ($3 elsewhere); Pro ₹299 a month | Starter 30,000 a month; Pro unlimited | Starter about ₹3.30 (₹99 / 30); Pro unlimited | 1,000 DMs a month, 3 automations |
| QuickDM | Pro Growth ₹399 a month in India ($10 elsewhere) | Paced at up to 185 an hour, no monthly count | Not a monthly cap, so no per-1,000 figure | Up to 20 DMs an hour |
| InstantDM | Legend Pro $9.99 a month billed yearly; Multi Starter $4.44 per account a month ($160 a year for 3 accounts) | Legend Pro unlimited, up to 800 an hour; Multi Starter 30,000 per account a month | Legend Pro unlimited; Multi Starter about $0.15 ($4.44 / 30) | 500 DMs a month |
| Zorcha | Pro $14.99 a month, or $9.99 a month billed yearly | Unlimited | Unlimited | Unlimited DMs and automations |
| LinkDM | Pro $19 a month, 3 accounts | 25,000 a month | About $0.76 ($19 / 25) | 1,000 DMs a month, 1 account |
| CreatorFlow | Pro $15 a month, or $12 a month billed yearly ($144 a year) | 5,000 a month, 2 accounts | $3.00 monthly ($15 / 5); $2.40 yearly ($12 / 5) | 500 DMs a month, 1 account |
| SuperProfile | Creator plan reported at ₹99 for the first month, then ₹499 a month per account | Unlimited AutoDM reported on free | Unlimited | Unlimited comment-to-DM reported |
| ManyChat | Pro reported from $39 a month for 2,500 contacts | Counts contacts, not DMs | Not comparable (contact-based) | 25 active contacts a month for new accounts |
| theZio (ours) | Pro ₹499 a month, or ₹399 a month billed yearly | Unlimited | Unlimited | 1,000 auto DMs a month, no card |
Two things jump out. First, most paid plans for single creators are now unlimited, so "price per DM" only matters on the capped plans. Second, the rupee plans are cheaper in absolute terms than most dollar plans, before you even count the exchange rate.
The maths, plan by plan
Price per 1,000 DMs = monthly price / (monthly DM cap / 1,000). Here is every plan where both numbers are stated:
- ReplyKaro Starter: ₹99 / (30,000 / 1,000) = ₹99 / 30 = about ₹3.30 per 1,000 DMs.
- LinkDM Pro: $19 / (25,000 / 1,000) = $19 / 25 = $0.76 per 1,000 DMs. Reviews disagree on whether the 25,000 is shared across the 3 accounts or per account; we used the lower reading.
- CreatorFlow Pro: $15 / 5 = $3.00 per 1,000 DMs billed monthly, or $12 / 5 = $2.40 billed yearly. Growth works out the same: $30 / 10 = $3.00, or $24 / 10 = $2.40.
- InstantDM Multi Starter: $4.44 / 30 = about $0.15 per 1,000 DMs per account. It is billed as $160 a year for 3 accounts, so it only gets this cheap if you run 3 accounts.
A low per-1,000 price is only worth it if you use the cap. If you send 2,000 DMs a month, a ₹99 plan with 30,000 DMs still costs ₹99. Your real cost per DM is the monthly price divided by the DMs you send, not by the DMs you are allowed.
Hourly caps need a different lens. QuickDM's Pro Growth pace of 185 DMs an hour adds up to 185 x 24 x 30 = 133,200 DMs in a 30-day month if comments arrived every hour, which they never do. What an hourly cap really sets is how long a viral spike waits in the queue. Our post on Instagram DM limits explains why pacing exists.
Tool by tool: who each price suits
Creator Lane
Creator Lane's pricing page, checked on 27 September 2026, lists Pro at ₹199 a month plus GST, or ₹1,500 a year plus GST, with unlimited automations and up to 3 Instagram accounts. Its free plan allows 2 live automations with unlimited DMs inside each. Remember the GST on top when you compare. See theZio vs Creator Lane. Better pick if you want the lowest rupee price for unlimited DMs, plus a storefront.
ReplyKaro
ReplyKaro's pricing page, checked on 27 September 2026, lists Starter at ₹99 a month in India ($3 elsewhere) for 30,000 DMs, and Pro at ₹299 a month with unlimited DMs. A Capterra listing found by search on 10 October 2026 still shows paid plans from ₹99 a month in India. See theZio vs ReplyKaro. Better pick if the lowest paid entry price matters most and 30,000 DMs a month covers you.
QuickDM
QuickDM's pricing page, checked on 10 October 2026, shows a free plan paced at up to 20 DMs an hour and Pro Growth at $10 a month, with a ₹399 price for India. Pro Growth paces DMs at up to 185 an hour. Neither plan has a monthly count. See theZio vs QuickDM and our ReplyKaro vs QuickDM breakdown. Better pick if your comments arrive steadily and a monthly cap worries you more than an hourly pace.
InstantDM
InstantDM's pricing page, checked on 10 October 2026, lists a free plan of 500 DMs a month, Legend Pro at $9.99 a month billed yearly (unlimited, up to 800 DMs an hour) and multi-account plans: Multi Starter at $4.44 per account a month, billed $160 a year for 3 accounts, with 30,000 DMs per account a month. See theZio vs InstantDM. Better pick if you run 3 or more accounts and want the lowest price per DM in dollars.
Zorcha
Zorcha's pricing page, checked on 10 October 2026, lists every plan, Free included, with unlimited DMs and unlimited automations. Pro is $14.99 a month, $11.99 billed quarterly or $9.99 billed yearly. Free gets a basic DM queue; paid plans add an advanced queue and re-runs. See theZio vs Zorcha. Better pick if you want the most free DM volume and can live with dollar billing when you upgrade.
LinkDM
LinkDM's pricing page, checked on 24 September 2026, lists 1,000 DMs a month free on one account and Pro at $19 a month for 3 accounts and 25,000 DMs. A SetSmart review found by search on 10 October 2026 reports the same Pro price. See theZio vs LinkDM. Better pick if you need a capped, dollar plan across a few accounts with story replies.
CreatorFlow
CreatorFlow's pricing page, checked on 10 October 2026, lists Free at 500 DMs a month on one account, Pro at $15 a month or $12 billed yearly ($144 a year) for 5,000 DMs and 2 accounts, and Growth at $30 a month or $24 billed yearly for 10,000 DMs and 5 accounts. See theZio vs CreatorFlow. Better pick if you want a small-team plan with seats and a clear monthly cap.
SuperProfile
A 2026 CreatorLane review, read via search on 27 September 2026, reports unlimited AutoDM on SuperProfile's free plan, and a Creator plan at ₹99 for the first month, then ₹499 a month per Instagram account. See theZio vs SuperProfile. Better pick if you want free comment-to-DM volume and a link-in-bio store in one place.
ManyChat
ManyChat charges by contacts, not DMs. A ChatBot.com breakdown, read via search on 27 September 2026, reports 25 active contacts a month on Free for accounts created after 2 March 2026, and Pro from $39 a month for 2,500 contacts. You cannot turn that into a price per DM. See theZio vs ManyChat. Better pick if you need multi-channel flows and integrations more than a low price.
Where theZio fits (our tool, so read this critically)
theZio is our product. Pro is ₹499 a month, or ₹399 a month billed yearly, in rupees through Razorpay, with no monthly DM cap. Sends are queued and paced within Instagram's limits. That is not the lowest price on this list. Here is what the price buys, and where it does not win.
- Free plan: 1,000 auto DMs a month, no card. Email capture in the DM and the Ask For Follow invite are on every plan. Ask For Follow invites the fan to follow you in the DM, and the freebie is still delivered if they do not.
- File delivery: upload a PDF, ebook or preset once, and each fan gets a private download link in the DM. 3 products on Free, unlimited on Pro.
- Old comments: every plan can answer the last 24 hours of comments when you switch an automation on; Pro can go back to all old comments. Comments older than 7 days get a public reply only, because Meta allows one private reply per comment, within 7 days.
- Pro extras: smart match (AI catches typos and variations of your keyword), "any comment on this post" for one post, and a brand deal inbox that flags collab enquiries.
- Story automations: keyword Story replies on every plan, including Free; any reply and Story mention DMs on Pro.
Where other tools beat theZio
- Lower price. Creator Lane (₹199 plus GST), ReplyKaro (₹99 Starter, ₹299 Pro) and QuickDM (₹399) all list paid plans below theZio Pro billed monthly.
- More free volume. Zorcha and SuperProfile report unlimited free DMs, and Creator Lane has no DM count inside its 2 free automations. theZio Free stops at a monthly cap.
- Several accounts on one plan. Creator Lane Pro covers 3 accounts, and InstantDM, LinkDM and CreatorFlow sell multi-account plans. theZio Pro covers one account and includes 2 team seats for a manager or agency; agencies with many accounts write to us.
- Story mentions on every plan. ReplyKaro lists story replies and mentions on every Instagram plan; theZio keeps Story mention DMs on Pro.
Costs that do not show in the headline price
- GST. Some rupee prices are listed plus GST. Ask whether the number you see is the number you pay.
- Dollar billing. A dollar plan's rupee cost moves with the exchange rate, and many Indian cards add a foreign transaction fee. Check your card's charges before you compare.
- Yearly as monthly. "$9.99 a month" billed yearly is one upfront payment for 12 months. Compare the monthly-billed price if you want to cancel any time.
- Features behind the paywall. Email capture, file delivery and old comments are the usual extras. A cheap plan that lacks them can cost you another tool.
- Per-account pricing. Several plans charge per Instagram account. Two accounts can double the bill.
If you have not paid for a tool yet, start with a free plan. Our guide to free Instagram auto DM tools shows what each free plan really gives you, and the best Instagram auto DM tools in India roundup compares features, not just price.
Pick by how many DMs you send
- Under 500 DMs a month: every free plan here covers you. Pick on features, not price.
- Around 1,000 a month: ReplyKaro, LinkDM and theZio free plans are built around this number; Zorcha, SuperProfile and Creator Lane report no DM count on free.
- A few thousand a month on one account: a rupee plan (Creator Lane, ReplyKaro, QuickDM or theZio Pro) costs less than most dollar plans before fees.
- Tens of thousands across several accounts: InstantDM's multi-account plans and LinkDM Pro give the lowest price per 1,000 DMs.
- Viral spikes: an unlimited plan avoids a cap running out mid-spike; an hourly pace will still queue some DMs.

Frequently asked questions
What is the cheapest Instagram auto DM tool in India?
As reported in October 2026, ReplyKaro has the lowest paid entry price (Starter at ₹99 a month for 30,000 DMs) and Creator Lane the lowest rupee price for unlimited DMs (₹199 a month plus GST). Zorcha and SuperProfile report unlimited DMs on their free plans. Confirm on each pricing page.
Which Instagram auto DM tool has the lowest price per DM?
Among plans that state both a price and a monthly DM cap, InstantDM's Multi Starter works out to about $0.15 per 1,000 DMs per account, if you run 3 accounts. For one account, LinkDM Pro is about $0.76 per 1,000 DMs. Unlimited plans have no per-DM cost.
How do I calculate the price per DM of an automation tool?
Divide the monthly price by the monthly DM cap in thousands to get the price per 1,000 DMs. ₹99 for 30,000 DMs is ₹99 / 30, about ₹3.30 per 1,000. Then check how many DMs you really send, because unused DMs still cost money.
Is a free Instagram auto DM tool enough?
For most creators starting out, yes. Free plans range from 500 DMs a month to unlimited, as reported in October 2026. theZio Free gives 1,000 auto DMs a month with email capture and file delivery included.
Is theZio the cheapest auto DM tool?
No. theZio Pro is ₹499 a month, or ₹399 a month billed yearly, with unlimited DMs. Creator Lane, ReplyKaro and QuickDM list lower rupee prices. theZio's case is what the price includes, like replies to old comments and private file delivery.
Are dollar-priced auto DM tools more expensive for Indian creators?
Often, yes. The rupee cost moves with the exchange rate, and many Indian cards add a foreign transaction fee. Compare the rupee amount on your card statement, not the dollar number on the pricing page.
