ReplyKaro vs QuickDM (and where theZio fits), compared

ReplyKaro and QuickDM are two of the most talked-about Instagram auto DM tools built for India. Both bill in rupees, both have a free plan, and both list story replies. On the landing page they look almost the same. The difference is in how each free plan counts and what the paid plan unlocks.
This post puts them side by side, then shows where theZio fits. theZio is our product, so it is labelled as ours, and the post says plainly where ReplyKaro and QuickDM beat it. Competitor details come from each tool's own pricing page, with the date we read it. Prices change often, so confirm every number on the tool's own site before you pay.
How this list was made
We read ReplyKaro's pricing and feature pages on 27 September 2026 (its site did not load for us on 10 October) and QuickDM's pricing page on 10 October 2026. We compared them on five things that matter to a creator in India:
- The free plan's unit. DMs a month, DMs an hour or automations. A viral Reel hits each one differently.
- The cheapest paid plan in rupees, and what it adds.
- Story replies, since many Indian creators run keyword offers on Stories as well as Reels.
- Lead capture and delivery: can the tool collect an email or send a file in the DM?
- Safety: official Instagram API and paced sending. Meta allows one private reply per comment, within 7 days, so pacing protects your account.
ReplyKaro vs QuickDM vs theZio at a glance
All competitor figures are as reported by each tool's own pricing page on the dates given in the sources. Treat this as a shortlist, then check the live pricing page.
| Tool | Free plan | Paid from | Story replies | Email in the DM | Stands out for |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| ReplyKaro | 1,000 DMs a month, 3 active automations, 1 account, no card | Starter ₹99 a month (30,000 DMs); Pro ₹299 a month with unlimited DMs | Yes, replies and mentions, every Instagram plan | Not listed as a plan feature | Lowest paid price, multi-account plans, Hinglish keywords |
| QuickDM | Unlimited automations, up to 20 DMs an hour, up to 100 emails | Pro Growth ₹399 a month in India ($10 global), up to 185 DMs an hour | Yes, on Free and Pro | Up to 100 emails on Free, unlimited on Pro | No monthly DM count on Free |
| theZio (ours) | 1,000 auto DMs a month, no card, no cap on automations | Pro ₹499 a month, or ₹399 a month billed yearly | Yes: keyword replies on every plan; any reply and mentions on Pro | Every plan, no separate email cap | File delivery, old comments, email capture on Free |
Read the units carefully. 1,000 DMs a month and 20 DMs an hour are not the same kind of limit. At 20 an hour, a steady stream of comments can add up to far more than 1,000 in a month. But a Reel that gets 500 comments in one evening will take more than a day to clear on that pace.
Tool by tool: where each one is the better pick
ReplyKaro
ReplyKaro's pricing page, checked on 27 September 2026, lists a Free Forever plan with no card: 1,000 DMs a month, 3 active automations and 1 Instagram account, with 100 MB for attachments. Starter is ₹99 a month in India ($3 elsewhere) for 30,000 DMs and 10 automations. Pro is ₹299 a month with unlimited automations and DMs. Growth (₹449, 5 accounts) and Agency (₹799, 10 accounts) cover several pages.
Its story automation page covers story replies and story mentions, and its comment-to-DM page shows a PDF, voice note or video attached to the DM. The pricing FAQ says it understands Hinglish keywords like "Link dedo", and the site calls itself Meta API verified. It also offers a follow-gate, which holds the link until the fan follows. Be careful with that: Meta's spam policy frowns on making a reward depend on a follow. We could not find email capture listed as a plan feature. Full detail is in theZio vs ReplyKaro. Better pick if the lowest paid price matters most, you run several accounts, or you want story replies on a cheap plan today.
QuickDM
QuickDM's pricing page, checked on 10 October 2026, lists Infinity Access as free forever for early adopters. It gives unlimited automations for comments, Reels, story replies and DMs, paced at up to 20 DMs an hour. It also includes a follower check for up to 100 fans and an email collector for up to 100 emails. Pro Growth shows $10 a month for global users, with an India price of ₹399 (the India price we also read on 27 September). It sends up to 185 DMs an hour, removes the follower and email limits, and comes with a 7-day free Pro trial. Agencies get a "Let's Talk" plan.
The page footer says QuickDM is Meta verified and compliant with Meta's Platform Policies, and its home page mentions story mentions too. We did not find file delivery or replies to old comments on its site. Full detail is in theZio vs QuickDM. Better pick if your comments arrive steadily through the day, you want unlimited automations without paying, and an hourly pace on busy days does not bother you.
Head to head: which one should you pick?
- Cheapest paid plan: ReplyKaro. ₹99 a month for Starter and ₹299 for unlimited DMs, against ₹399 for QuickDM Pro Growth.
- Biggest free volume on a steady account: QuickDM. No monthly count, only an hourly pace.
- A viral Reel on a free plan: ReplyKaro. Its pricing page lists a monthly count of 1,000 DMs, not a pace of 20 an hour, so a spike should clear faster until the month's allowance runs out.
- Email capture on a free plan: QuickDM, up to 100 emails. ReplyKaro does not list it.
- Several Instagram accounts: ReplyKaro, with 5 and 10 account plans at published prices.
- Sending a file: ReplyKaro, which shows attachments in the DM. QuickDM does not mention files.
Where theZio fits (our tool, so read this critically)
theZio is our product. It does one job: a fan comments your keyword on a chosen post or on all posts, and theZio sends the DM, with an optional public reply to the comment. Here is what it adds over ReplyKaro and QuickDM, and where it does not win.
- Free plan: 1,000 auto DMs a month, no card and no cap on automations, paced within Instagram's limits so a spike goes out as fast as Instagram allows.
- Email capture on every plan: theZio asks for the fan's email inside the DM and saves it to your contacts, with CSV export. There is no separate 100-email ceiling on Free.
- File delivery: upload an ebook, PDF or preset once and every fan gets a private download link in the DM. 3 products on Free, unlimited on Pro. Each keyword of one automation can deliver its own product or link.
- Old comments: when you switch an automation on, every plan can answer the last 24 hours of comments; Pro can go back to all old comments. Comments older than 7 days get a public reply only, because Meta no longer allows a DM.
- Ask For Follow: every plan can invite the fan to follow you in the DM. The freebie is delivered whether or not they follow.
- Pro at ₹499 a month (₹399 a month billed yearly) adds smart match (AI catches typos and variations of your keyword), an "any comment on this post" mode for one post, and a brand deal inbox that flags collab enquiries.
- Setup: Instagram Login, no Facebook Page. You need a professional (Business or Creator) account. theZio is built on the official Instagram API and is not a Meta partner.
Where other tools beat theZio
- Price. ReplyKaro lists ₹99 and ₹299 a month, and QuickDM ₹399 a month in India. theZio Pro is ₹499 a month, or ₹399 a month billed yearly. On price alone, both beat it.
- Story mentions on a cheap plan. Both list story-reply automation, and ReplyKaro lists story mentions on every plan. theZio answers keyword Story replies on every plan, including Free; replies without a keyword and Story mention DMs are on Pro.
- Many accounts. ReplyKaro sells 5 and 10 account plans at a published price. theZio has no multi-account plan to buy; Pro includes 2 team seats for a manager or agency.
- No monthly cap on Free. QuickDM's free plan paces by the hour instead of counting DMs a month. theZio Free stops at a monthly allowance.
- Hinglish out of the box. ReplyKaro says it understands keywords like "Link dedo". On theZio you add those spellings yourself, or turn on smart match on Pro.
Pick by how your comments arrive
- A few dozen comments a week: any of the three free plans works. Pick the one you find easiest to set up.
- Steady comments all day, no budget: QuickDM's hourly pace suits you.
- Spiky, viral Reels: a monthly allowance clears a spike faster than an hourly pace. ReplyKaro Free or theZio Free.
- You give away a PDF or preset and want the email: theZio, with file delivery and email capture on Free.
- You run several pages: ReplyKaro's Growth or Agency plan.
- Story offers are your main channel: all three answer keyword Story replies. For Story mention DMs on a cheap plan, ReplyKaro.
Whichever you choose, test it on a real post with a second Instagram account before you promote the keyword. Comment once and check that exactly one DM arrives with the right link.

Frequently asked questions
Which is better, ReplyKaro or QuickDM?
It depends on how your comments arrive. ReplyKaro is cheaper on paid plans and suits many accounts. QuickDM's free plan has no monthly DM count, only a pace of up to 20 DMs an hour, so it suits steady comments. For a viral spike, a monthly allowance clears faster than an hourly pace.
Which Instagram auto DM tool is cheapest in India?
Of these three, ReplyKaro, as reported on 27 Sep 2026: Starter at ₹99 a month and Pro at ₹299 with unlimited DMs. QuickDM Pro Growth is ₹399 a month in India. theZio Pro is ₹499 a month, or ₹399 a month billed yearly. All three have free plans.
Does ReplyKaro or QuickDM collect emails?
QuickDM's free plan collects up to 100 emails, with unlimited on Pro Growth. We could not find email capture listed as a plan feature on ReplyKaro. theZio collects the email inside the DM on every plan, including Free.
Are ReplyKaro and QuickDM safe for my Instagram account?
Both say they use the official Instagram API, so you sign in through Meta's own screen and never share your password. Keep the DM useful, let the tool pace sends, and avoid making the freebie depend on a follow, which Meta's spam policy frowns on.
What is a good ReplyKaro or QuickDM alternative?
theZio, our own tool, is a rupee-billed alternative with 1,000 auto DMs a month on Free, email capture and file delivery on every plan, and replies to old comments. It costs more than both on paid plans. Keyword Story replies work on every plan; answering every Story reply and Story mention DMs are on Pro.
Can I use ReplyKaro or QuickDM with theZio?
Yes, but never on the same post. Meta allows one private reply per comment, so two tools on one post means a double DM or a failed send. A common split is stories on one tool and post comments on another.
