What you can use it for
- "This looks so good" gets a warm thank-you in your voice
- "Which song is this?" answered from your caption
- "Price?" on a post with a keyword automation gets pointed to your keyword, so the DM sends the details
- Last month's unanswered comments on your best Reel finally get a reply
How to set it up
- Brief it. Open Comment Agent and pick your niche to fill How should I reply? with a starting brief, then make it yours and pick a Tone (Friendly, Professional, Hinglish). Press Save.
- Test it with Try it. Pick one of your posts, type a comment a fan might leave and see the exact reply, or why it would come to you instead. Nothing is posted.
- Pick posts and turn it on. On the Posts tab, switch the agent on for the posts you want, add notes for a post if it needs them, then use the main switch to turn the agent on.
- Reply to older comments (optional). With the agent and the post switched on, tap Reply to older comments on that post to answer comments from the last 30 days that nobody replied to.
- Check Needs you. Comments it left for you are in the Inbox under Needs you, often with a suggested reply you can edit and send from the dashboard.
Tips to get more from it
- Write your rules plainly, one per line, like "Never mention the authorities". After you Save, theZio checks your brief and warns you if two of your lines ask for opposite things.
- Write prices with Rs or the rupee sign in your brief, a caption or a post's notes, so the agent can repeat them. A rupee price you did not write is blocked.
- Keep the keyword automation on your Reel: fans asking for the link get the DM, and the agent points the rest to your keyword.
Good to know
- Brief up to 1500 characters, plus notes of up to 500 characters per post.
- Public replies only, never DMs. One reply per person per post a day, tagging them by @name so they get notified (you can switch that off).
- Reply to older comments answers up to 200 unanswered comments from the last 30 days per post, using at most half of the post's hourly reply limit so new comments keep the rest.
- Blocks any reply with a link, hashtag, tag of someone else, or a rupee price or offer you did not write yourself.
- Criticism never gets an automatic reply. Spam is ignored, and Auto-hide (off by default) can hide spam and abusive comments, with Unhide in the Inbox.
Questions
Will it reply to people who comment my keyword?
No. Your automations always go first. The agent only sees comments no automation picked up, and on a post with a keyword automation it can point people asking for a price or link to your keyword.
Will the replies sound like me?
It follows the rules you write in How should I reply? and your chosen tone, and it reads the post's caption and notes. Try it shows the exact reply before anything goes live.
Can it make up prices or links?
No. A reply with a link, or a rupee price or offer that is not in your brief, caption or post notes, is blocked before it is posted.
Does the Comment Agent send DMs?
No. It only writes short public replies under comments. DMs come from your keyword automations and the DM Agent.
What happens to negative comments?
Criticism of you or your content never gets an automatic reply. It comes to the Inbox under Needs you, often with a suggested reply, so you decide what to say. Fans agreeing with your post get a normal reply.
Can it reply to old comments?
Yes. On any post, Reply to older comments answers up to 200 unanswered comments from the last 30 days, a few at a time, and you can stop it any time.
Which plan includes the Comment Agent?
Pro, at ₹499 a month or ₹399 a month billed yearly. AI replies are included, with a daily limit per account.
