What you can use it for
- A recorded course sold from your bio and your Reels
- A cohort with live sessions and a certificate at the end
- A free mini course that collects emails before a paid launch
How to set it up
- Create the course. Open Courses, create a course and fill in Details: title, cover and what students will learn.
- Add lessons. In Lessons, add modules and lessons, upload video and attach files.
- Set the price. In Pricing, make it free or set a price. Paid courses need the Get paid setup.
- Publish. In Publish, check the sales page and go live. Students and their progress show in Students.
Tips to get more from it
- Make the first lesson a free preview: it sells the rest of the course.
- Use a Reel keyword that sends the course page by DM to everyone who comments.
Good to know
- Video is hosted for you and streamed through short-lived signed links.
- Students log in with a one-time email code; each student can be signed in on 2 devices at once, and a third login signs out the oldest.
- A certificate in the student's name when they finish, if you turn it on.
- Video upload, modules, attachments and live sessions are all part of Max Pro.
Questions
Do my students need an app?
No. They open thezio.co/learn in any browser, on phone or laptop, and log in with a code sent to their email.
Can students share their login?
Each student can be signed in on 2 devices at once; logging in on a third signs out the oldest. There is no DRM on the video.
What does it cost?
Courses are part of Max Pro at ₹899/month. Paid courses carry the same fee as Paid products: 0% until we give 30 days' notice.
