What you can use it for
- All posts automations where loyal fans comment on everything
- One-time offers or discount codes that should go out once
How to set it up
- Open Advanced. In your automation, open Advanced.
- Pick the rule. Under How often can the same fan trigger this?, choose Once per post (default) or Once ever.
- Save. Tap Save changes.
Tips to get more from it
- Use Once ever for coupon codes and one-time freebies; Once per post for a series where each post has new value.
Good to know
- Default on every plan: once per post. Changing it needs Pro.
- Story automations always use one DM per fan per Story.
Questions
Can a fan get the DM twice on the same post?
No. On the same post a fan gets the DM once, whatever this setting says.
